Sleep
Apparently Alex will sleep until eight. As long as she can get up in the middle of the night and be WIDE awake!

Baby Yoga
We went to baby yoga yesterday.
It was great fun. I expected it to be a bit more relaxing but instead it was really vigorous. Alex loved it. The first section had the babies lying down while we wiggled their legs around - all very good for releasing wind and poo. Hmmmm, lovely! After that we did baby lifts and swings which the babies all loved. Alex is quite a weight now. I don't think I'll need to bother joining a gym if I keep this up.
But her favourite bit was definitely being dangled upside down!
The last part was some exercises for the mothers. Plenty of good energetic positions here. The woman beside me could even do the stick bit of the sun salutations!

Growth
I swear that baby has grown two inches over the weekend. I tried to put one of her onesies one today and couldnt even get the poppers to meet let alone pop. Taller and taller but not any rounder.
She is obessed with her toes at the moment. Forget all those toys - all she wants to do is lounge around trying to get her toes into her mouth. Every day she gets a little closer.

Baby Clinic
I took Alex to the Baby Clinic today. For no real reason other than to see how much she weighs. And the answer is - lots! A more accurate answer is - 15lbs 5oz. She is smack on the growth curve following on from her previous weighings so thats good.
I asked about the flaky bits of skin round her ears. Time for the baby moisturiser. And about how hard it is to get her to nap in the cot unless she is fed to sleep. Apparently the bouncy chair and pram are grand places for naps and not to worry too much. The health visitor also recommended that we start cutting back on the Ranitidine that she is taking for reflux and if that goes well to stop giving it to her.
Oh, and I should go to more baby things during the day. Apparently just sloping round to the Black Cat Cafe for cake doesn't count. Time to find out about the baby yoga or perhaps even the swimming classes!
