Hilltown in the Cinema

In 1933 they shot a film in Hilltown called General John Regan. Who knew. It would be wonderful if they could show it locally.

Decisions, decisions.

Because all the floors upstairs are being sanded we slept downstairs on the sofa bed in the front room last night. It turns out the bed is just the right height to sit on to use the computer. And it would be so easy to swing round and just nap. So is it more professional to work while sitting on the bed or should I get my act together and sit on the big silver bouncy gym ball?

We had our central heating system replaced this week. Lots of fun. But now the house is warm and toasty again. I'm looking forwards to having a nice bath - showers just aren't the same.

Anyway, when the old radiators were removed we found some pretty groovy old wallpaper. People weren't afraid of patterns then.
