Hermit Crab Baby

I think she looks like a hermit crab trying on a new shell.

Swinging

Its a been a big couple of days here. Alex is beginning to learn how to wave and that is very, very exciting. So exciting in fact she can barely hold her self upright at the same time. We have discovered her first fear - tulips. And today she had her first swing. It was a big hit.

Funny face

I have no idea why Alex was pulling this face. It looks as though she was trying to tell a joke.

Sunderland

We had a great time in Sunderland last weekend visiting Sam and Alan. I didn't take very many photos which is a sign that we were enjoying ourselves too much.

The weather wasn't perfect for walking on the beach.

Eating off a Plate

Adam and Kinga gave Alex a lovely set of Maisy dinnerware for Christmas.

Here you can see her neatly eating rice cakes off the plate.






And here, mere seconds later, you can see just how bothered she was about spilling the rice cakes on to the floor. Mind you a plate probably has more flavour than rice cakes.

Gated Community

We now live in a gated community. It helps to keep the riff raff contained. See that leg in the air? That's Alex attempting to climb over the gate.

Climb

Not content with horizontal movement Alex learns to climb.

Walker

Alex isn't walking on her own. Not yet. But with the help of the baby walker she can wander round and crash into me.

Crawling

No scooting on her tummy now. Alex can crawl!
