Father Dougal and the Button

So, Alex and I are in the Grafton Centre and it has started to rain. We decide that lunch in Debenhams would be wiser than getting soaked on the way home. As we head to the lift Alex runs on ahead to press the button. I am very happy with this as I get static electricity shocks every time I go into that shop.

I am very easily distracted. I walk through the shop looking at all the sparkly shiny stuff. It is only when Alex looks round at me I look at her. She is not about to press the button for the lift. She has found another button on that wall. A big red button. With EMERGENCY written above it. Apparently they have a big button that allows you to close all the internal emgerency fire shutters inside the shop. Thankfully I found that out by reading the notice next to the button. It turns out that Alex will stop dead in her tracks if you shout loud enough.

We did use to joke that Alex was a bit like Father Dougal. You need only watch this for a few seconds at around 20 seconds in.
