The first step

So this evening while we were getting ready for Alex's bath I decided to stay in the hall and see how close she is to being able to climb up the step out of her room.

The answer is that she is very close. Very, very close. Oh, ok, it took her less than two seconds to lift her dimpled knee high enough to climb up the step and crawl down the hall to me. Did she falter. Was this, the first step she has climbed, tricky? Nope, knee up and away.
