Today I actually entered a photo competition.

Neil Roche works for Fuji and he pointed out once that the photos they got for the monthly online competion sometimes werent very good. Of course he picked the month that the theme was gnomes. The standard in the other months is much higher.

But today I noticed that the theme was shoes. And I happen to have a photo of shoes handy (don't we all?). So what the heck.
