Kilbroney Park

 

 

Our plans to go to the nearest play barn were thwarted but as the weather turned out to be lovely this was a blessing in disguise. We went to Kilbroney instead and had fun at the playground there.

Saoirse's Tea Party

We had a great time at Saoirse's tea party. There was a lot of pink and a lot of princesses. Alex adored it!

"Bad Mummy" I said to David as I took photos of Alex careering down the bouncy slide without running to help. "Yes", he said, "you should have switched the camera to Sports mode".

Normal Voice

I was just trying to get her to put her pjs on. Stephanie was getting shouty and I just wanted to get bedtime moving along. I may have sounded just a bit exasperated but I wasn't very annoyed.

"Mummy I'm not going to listen to that voice. Use your normal voice."

Dancing

Today Alex went into her dancing class without me. And, presumably, danced. There wasn't any fuss. I said that I was going to stay outside and feed Stephanie so off Alex skipped into the class. And then when it was over she came out and said she had fun. It is very odd not knowing exactly what she did. I'm just going to have to get over that. And remember to bring my book the next time.

Sit Down Protest

 

I wouldn't take Alex into the Black Cat this evening for coffee and a bun. She sat down outside their door and wouldn't move. She may be bolshie but she does have good taste.
