It is all so sweet ...

... until Alex starts coughing in the baby's face. Even Stephanie tried to shield herself from the germs.

Snow

It snowed here today! But thankfully not for too long. It did mean that when we were going out we wrapped Stephanie up in three layers of fleecy clothing. Alex wore her ra-ra skirt, Upsy Daisy top, pink vest and thin Upsy Daisy raincoat. Of course she did. That's just about all she ever wants to wear these days. We did make her wear tights and a jumper so we weren't entirely negligent.

And we were only going to the Grafton Centre. And we went by car. So I suspect Alex was the one most appropriately dressed for the weather while poor Stephanie sweltered.

 

 

Black

 

So as a fun activity for after Alex's nap I decided we would paint some Congratulations on you New Baby cards as there have been quite a few new babies around here. It all started well. She painted one pinkish card and one greenish card. But then she found the black paint and that was the end of that.

I hope this isn't a glimpse into Alex's psyche.

Stephanie was weighed by the midwife at her last visit and has put on a pound since birth. This is a good amount. I am putting this down to the dried fruit and nuts I have been eating. Of course the fruit and nuts have been incased in Cadbury's chocolate so perhaps that also has something to do with it!
